If you login to I Tunes just do a search for 'Tassimo App'.

Chuckling here, but sadly what you said makes a lot more sense than the answer of "limitations of distribution" LOL. So if there is said Limitations of distribution Kraft, then lift those stupid limitations and watch your coffee sales shoot off the charts

If I had to guess distribution limitations means its not cost effective. Or possibly flavors have been bad and had their passports revoked and they are not allowed to leave their homelands....

This is also the same company that said Seattles Best would be available in Feb after going though a packaging make-over.

Thanks for sharing your experience, beach.

Hah, a company the size of Kraft has limitiations of distribution?

Well, they do seem to have limitations fulfilling the items that are available...

As I said, its not exactly a good answer or reason. But hey at least they finally answered! A small victory in itself considering they always are so tight lipped on what is going on with our wonderful little brew bot.

That light at the end of the tunnel may be a train comming from the opposite direction.

"Limitations of distribution?" Huh? Are sales so good that they're running out of beans??? ;)

Just wanted to give you all an FYI on two things.

The first theTassimo facebook page announced today in addition to the 3 new "bold flavors" this summer that in the fall they will be releasing a Moca and a peppermint Mocha. It does not say who will be making these pods.

On a more personal level I inquired to the feedback as to why the European options are not available to in the States. Here was my experience.

The good:
I did get a reply within 12 hours of my question.

The bad:
The first reply had nothing to do with my question and was a canned response including the announcement of Starbux/Kraft break up and telling me about the 3 exciting new flavors.

The Result:
I was frustrated and felt as if no one actually read the email, so I responded again, stating thank you for the news but had nothing to do with my question.

They responded again!

The good:
Again the response came quickly this time within 4 hours of my response.

The bad:
This time the customer service agent explained to me that they are always looking to add new choices to the Canadian market, and that they are constantly researching the Canadian market to look for ideas for new coffee.

The Result:
Ughh... I dont live in Canada, and again this has nothing to do with my original question which was simply, why arent all the flavors of Nabob, Kenco, Maestro and others not available in the states. I respond for the 3rd time, pointing out that I dont live in Canada and that again the response had nothing to do with my question.

Low and behold I get a 3rd response.

The good:
The response came quickly again, this time within 2 hours of my response.

Someone actually answered my original question!

The bad:

The answer stated that Tassimo/Kraft could not provide all the selection available in Europe due to limitations of distribution. I'm not sure thats a good excuse but its at least the answer.

The Result:
However Shannon the Customer Service agent that finally answered my question, did say that:

"We intend to increase the number of Tassimo selections in the future, at this time we not have an estimated date of when additional selections will be added."

So perhaps this answer is light at the end of the tunnel. It at least is the first time I've heard that they are actually looking at adding selections.

This coupled with the facebook announcement gives me some hope that hopefully more products are in the works. While personally Mocha and Peppermint Mocha dont really excite me, its at least something new!
