Well, I think they're trying to "go head to head" with Starbucks, according to that article, in developing the dark roasted coffees because people are crying about losing Starbucks.

I've tried the Gevalia Caramel Latte Macchiato. While it had a nice carmel fragrance, I felt that there was little (if any) carmel taste.
Here's a no brainer - How about a skinny decaf cap? Gevalia has a decaf cap & a skinny cap. Well, why not place the decaf espresso disc along with the skinny milk disc??
Oh wait, we've been asking for that for least the past 7 months that I've been on this forum.
But hey, I've got a great idea. Instead of giving the customers what they've been asking for, let's do some R&D and develop a couple of new coffees.

it'd be great if you developed a skinny vanilla and caramel cappuccino flavor. what i do now is make the cappuccino and add the flavor i like into the cup prior to brewing. but it'd be great if the disk already had the flavor. im no barrista.
