I just had the same thing happen. It went on yesterday after brewing a cup of coffee. I thought this was strange because I use RO water that 99.999% pure. I descale this morning using clear caf. After rinsing four times the light is still on. I may be calling customer service. I would be interested to know if this happening to other people.

An update: I talked to customer service, and since my machine is still under warranty, they told me to return it to Bed, Bath and Beyond to exchange it for a new one.

Descaling light won't go out

I got my Tassimo for Christmas, and it has developed a problem where the descale light won't turn off. I've descaled it twice, and it's still on. It will let me brew coffee, but I'm wondering if it will eventually render the machine useless. Anyone else have this experience?
