The instructions tell you to RINSE it four times to make sure you've gotten all the solution out of the system.

I'm missing part of the discussion I think. What are you trying to do? When I descale, I run the solution through once, but rinse it (run plain water) more than once.

What kind of machine do you have? And what kind of descaling liquid are you using?
